The Line Up!!! Nalanda College Shakespeare Drama Society Nalanda College Shakespeare Drama Society organized an Inter school Drama Competition on the 9th of July 2010 at the Bishops College auditorium which was a tremendous success.
The Chief Guest at this major event was Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP USP ndc psc the vice chancellor of the The General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. The principal, deputy principal, assistant principals & the teachers of Nalanda College was present at the venue.
Following schools made achievements in the competition of Shakespeare Dramas.
1st Place- Devi Balika Vidyalaya Colombo 08.
2nd Place - Ananda College Colombo 10.
3rd Place- Ananda Balika Vidayala Colombo 10.
4th Place - Anada Balika Vidayalaya, Sri Jayawardanapura.
This event was a huge hit among the local drama community and we are proud to say that we are the 1st govermant school to organize and Inter school Shakespeare Drama Competition.
This event helped in boosting up the image of Mother Nalanda.
