Consecutive Nalanda Ranaviru Upahara was held at the Nalanda College premises, today, the 2nd of August 2010. This was the first instance of Nalanda Ranaviru Upahara since the celebration of the tremendous victory by the Sri Lankan security forces in the Nalanda Ranaviru Upara 2009 in an extravagant event. The event was conducted with the auspices of the senior most old nalandians in the three armed forces and the police. Thus, Major General Milinda Peiris of the Sri Lanka Army, Commodore N.G.B Tennakoon of the Sri Lanka Navy, Air Vice Marshal E.G.J Prashantha Silva and Deputy Inspector General Ashoka Wijethilake participated as guests of honour at the event.
