Not as good as our school's home page

Hi Gayathri

It would be nice if you could give us the URL - web address - for your school's website, so we (and others) could look at ways to improve our website.

Thanks!

Best regards,

Ravin

Calendar: when you click on next month link, it reloads the whole page... seems not very user friendly. Can't you make it reload in itself, which will leave the rest of the page viewable.

NB: Still it's the best site among the other schools in SL (and also one of the best among many other institution Gov or Pvt), thats y my vote is "5". Good job bro's.

Hi Dilan

You are right, when navigating the mini-Calendar the whole page does refresh.

As this Calender extension for Joomla is from a third-party we are not at liberty to modify it.

However, we will keep our eyes open for an AJAX-like Calendar.

Thank you for the suggestion.

Best regards,

Ravin

It would be great to have an online directory where the members are able to change their details when those changes. Especially things like mobile numbers change quickly these days. This would be the most efficient way of updating.

But the members have to work on it. We have a similar thing in our X-NCians 2002 yahoo group. But only few members update the details there.

Hi Navodana

Thank you for the feedback, there was another earlier request from another Old Boy for the same feature. Indeed we are working on this feature. Unfortunately this is not straightforward and it will require some customization on our part.

On the same note, may I inquire whether you would be willing to lend a hand for the customization? This would require some PHP/MySQL development.

Thanks!

Best regards,

Ravin
